A quick summary of what we covered:
Your Strategies
- Consider shifting emphasis from the conversion end of things back to inspiration: dream rather than book.
- Explore how you can reach out for support in a way that works for your customer, too.
- Encourage people to share their experiences or provide reviews.
Your Future Strategies
- Plan for customers or visitors returning in stages.
- Consider how you might market yourself to new audiences.
- Brainstorm messaging for customers coming out of lockdowns--or who may come out with new and different values.
Your Content
- Provide content that serves your audiences' wants and needs. Relevant, useful, interesting.
- Be caring and empathetic.
- Lean towards "doing good" where you can.
- Try to provide a virtual experience of your brand or destination.
- Cater to audience groups like parents and caregivers.
- Create or adapt content relevant to the situation now.
Your Digital Marketing
- Assess what spend is right for you, taking into account your goals and budget.
- Consider pivoting from your current strategy: e.g. from clicks to reach.
- Focus on building a stronger social community. Be present and responsive.
Your Website
- Ensure you have a strong COVID-19 message, no matter your situation.
- Review your website structure, and whether you can provide a better experience for your visitors.
- Consider using this time to plan or build a new website.
- Take steps to improve your existing website.
If you'd like to bounce any ideas off us, or have any questions about your COVID-19 response or anything to do with your marketing, we're here and ready to help.
With all the best to you and yours,
